Great book
I really like this book. Overall the only thing that was bad was trying to receive the package. UPS refuses to actually deliver packages. Instead, UPS just delivers sticky notes to my door claiming they tried to deliver the package.

Great tool for business owners
This book has so much common sense information. I use it as one tool to screen applications.

I highly recommend this book...
This is a very "easy read". The concepts and ideas are laid out in an easy to understand format. I loved the quiz at the beginning of the chapters. I also enjoyed the celebrity and criminal handwriting samples. There are lots of samples to study. I was amazed and even shocked at how well graphology really works.

Very general; good for beginners
Very basic and simple.The cards and info sheet make it convenient and simple, so this is probably better for beginners who are not looking to do a complete analysis.

Attractive cards for learning the basics
There is a Latin saying, "agere sequitur esse", "doing followsbeing".Handwriting is certainly an expression of our being with all its uniqueness.If you have seen a human figure drawn according to the functional areas of the brain, you'd be amazed at how big the hand is in proportion to the rest of the body. There are studies on the physiology of handwriting and the connections with the brain. Others proposed "brainwriting", changing your handwriting to change your personality.There are so many potential uses of handwriting analysis, not limited to entertainement.This set of 64 small, artistic, aqua-colored and handsomely produced cards, with a pad for recording according to 11 categories, gives an easy introduction to the basic essentials.Size represents personal presence, slant for emotional interactions, capitals for showmanship, pressure for intensity, baseline for disposition... Valuable guide on a little-known tool for personality assessment and change.
There are dozens of books available on handwriting analysis.This one differs in its clear and concise description of the specific personality traits corresponding to specific letters and then, most importantly, showing how to optimize one's behavior through specific handwriting changes.In other words, "build it (the desired behavior), and it will come."
Your Handwriting Can Change Your Life
The book is very interesting and fun. It also helped me get in touch with many areas I can improve upon not just handwriting. The author shares insights into character and gives you the inspiration to change with the stokes of a pen. It surprised me how well I identified with the traits it described that corresponded to my handwriting characteristics. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to improve their handwriting and their life.

Good info but seems to drag on and on and on....
This book has some good info but just seemed to drag on and on and on and on and on... Please don't buy this for anyone with a short attention span OR anyone "new" to graphology. This book is terribly lacking in "visual" examples of the traits that were discussed. While there are samples, there just aren't enough, and they look like photo copies that were copy-n-pasted from another book (thus making them blurry and fuzzy at times). This is a THREE STAR book. If you want a FIVE STAR graphology book try "Handwriting Analysis - Putting It To Work For You" by Andrea McNichol (no s on McNichol).

beware
the bottom line is that unless you REALLY know what your doing you can easily misinterpret things. not a good idea. its interesting, but dont take yourself to seriously afterwords.

More Than Just a Text Book
After reading just about all the most popular tracts on Graphology one has to say that this 456 page tome is the most complete in content and the most thorough in explanation and examples. Yet it is also an inviting page-turner filled with lively side boxes called Tales from the Quill, Fine Points, and Chicken Scratch! This a serious but light-hearted treatment of a complex but enjoyable subject.

This book is content-rich with how to's and reinforced with specific application areas.I personally experienced positive outcomes when I used Irene's "t" crossing suggestion for boosting self-esteem.The book is a must read for individuals who want to know more about themselves and others.

I was skeptical in reading the Brainwriting book...a friend had given it to me.However, I ran into problems that truly puzzled me with a student at the University where I teach. Cash Peters
Like it or not this Brit is a quirky fellow for sure.I liked the book.Did feel that it was more for entertainment than an exact science.I was not at all displeased with this little book.Anything that Mr. Cash Peters does I can get behind.

Don't Bother
I"ve read many books on handwriting analsysis which I have studied for thirty years. This books is one of the worst I've encountered. It provides a letter by letter approach to graphoanalysis rather than a "trait stacking" approach which is more typically taught. Many of the letter analysis the author uses seem dubious, not things I've ever read before. I found myself saying "Oh come on!" at some of his conclusions. One of many example is that a loop in an O letter means you are a divided soul; half wanting to be with people, the other half wanting to be alone. Never heard that one before. Most handwriting books indicate that this trait means you are secretive since the O is one of the communication letters and the loop functions to tie it off. I found the letter by letter analysis approach rather silly anyway; a proper study of graphology is much more complex than that. There are lots of better graphology books out there. ... Read more

Unbelieveable that this guy entitles a book "love"
As I read through this book it really seemed more about Bart Baggett bragging about how many women he slept with than about any secrets to making love or relationships happen. After several shocking pages of reading about his "sl*t" and "wh*re" and "b**ch" conquests (all his word choices, not mine!), in a book about "making love happen." I am seriously confused. Why would a man, who by his own admission is 1) highly promiscuous and seeks out vulnerable women in order to "get laid," 2) has never been in a seriously committed relationship and 3) openly views any woman who would have a sexual interest in him as a "sl*t," writing a book on "LOVE." This book is not about true relationships nor is it in any way about love or creating a loving relationship.
Best for Typists
As an admitted non-expert in the field of finding mates through handwriting analysis, I purchased this book expecting it would help me find my perfect match.Although it does contain some very helpful information re neuro-linguistic programming, I must have missed the bit on how to convince a woman to submit a writing sample to a handwriting expert.

Loads of typos
He's a very good speaker, he does have a (biting) sense of humor, he is overly obsessed with sex (which can be funny but ultimately just gets tiring), he's a brilliant *marketer*.He is talented at handwriting traits but I would assume that his lower loops all run into the next lines every time - he has too many irons in the fire.The reader is left with the feeling that we, the book purchasers, are not worth hiring an editor, nor running Spell Check (even once??).

This guy would be better off reading tea leaves
This is the worst example of graphology I have ever seen, in my life.It would take this man weeks, no --MONTHS to make heads or tails of my personality based on the information provided.First of all, he couldprobably tell you what you are like if you have extremely abnormalhandwriting.His studies are based on comparison -- this book might aswell be shelved with the tea leaf reading or tarot books you could find atthe library. The biggest problem is that his samples were created solelyfor the study.The subjects gave samples they knew would be underscrutiny.The result turns out to poor: a tense and defensive group.Hefails to see the big picture. He doesn't point out what makes a certainsample revealing of a person, he says that a person is great at penmanshipin figure 59, but not that the person also has a short temper.He missesthe greatest part of graphology: that a person's handwriting changesthroughout their letter.He is more likely to give you an example of theirstrangest writing rather than their most common writing. Sigh, I amdisappointed that I have read books on graphology 40 years older than thisone, and more accurate.

Branston Is Brilliant
I received this book for Christmas and it is layed out perfectly! Especially for me- a beginner. There are pictures on every page and Branston explains things to the fullest extreme. If you are into graphologyor want to learn more about handwriting analysis just for fun, this is thebook to get!

Fully recommend it for those starting out in graphology
Barry gives a nonspeculative and fundamental approach to the entire process. From analyzing basic form and layout to writing a final report on a sample of handwriting. Intriguing and Insightful Guide to Handwriting Analysis
This book gives you instant insight into a person's personality. This book has illustrations of different styles of forming a particular letter, and then next to the letter it gives the personality.I found that thepersonality insight is for the most part dead on target.The only downpart is that I found that there were often many different forms for the wayI formed a letter. So, I basically fit both those categories, and sometimesthey would be contradicting.But like the author said, when we are in acertain mood, our handwriting changes.Also, in the "M" section,they didn't have the way I formed my "M's" exactly.Otherwise, Ihad fun passing this book around for other people to look at in my office. ... Graphology takes time.
Handwriting analysis has always been an interest of mine.I liked the fact that in the back of the book there is a glossary for terms that graphologists use.Graphology isn't necessarily made easy with this book,but nothing worth learning is.There are many illustrations, and in everychapter there is a little quiz to put what you learned to the test.Theonly down side to these quizes is the fact that the answers are not verydetailed.I don't expect anyone to make any money by being a graphologistby merely reading this book, because I have tried to analyze other people'shandwriting, and I could only give vague generalizations.I would have hadto look up the information again, and I didn't bring the book with me onthat day.Another problem with analyzing other people's handwriting is thefact that they want to prove you wrong.I however found that what the booksays about other people's personalities or his or her state of mind at thetime of writing, is very accurate.I would recommend this book to whomeverwants to learn more about handwriting analysis.If they are in it to makemoney, don't expect to make money right away, because it takes years ofpractice, I'm assuming. ... Not only have I read this book and her latest one as well (Your Handwriting Can Change Your Life - March, 2000), I have studied under her since 1995.She is as giving, intuitive, passionate, and honest about her work as she comes across in her books. Incredible Mentor
