5 minutes to orgasm
I bought this book hoping to learn more about how to make sure that my wonderful wife will be very satisfied every time. Claire Hutchins definitely has strong and well supported position about women's sexuality and certain associated issues. I agree with her that it is not necessary for men to be fully responsible for the sexual satisfaction of their partners (any more). Intimacy should be fun, pleasant and an opportunity to get rid of stress and tension not the opposite. I am thankful to the author for encouraging and empowering my wife to feel more in charge of her orgasms than she used to. Similar thing happened with me after I easily became multi-orgasmic thanks to scientificlly guaranteed male multiple orgasms and ultimate sex. You can hardly imagine what burden will fall from your shoulders when you learn from such books how to have orgasms at will and can finally focus on the rest- foreplay, different positions, and truly lovemaking that makes the bond between the partners stronger and deeper. Ms. Hutchins has paid a lot of attention to psychological and mental aspects that may liberate women from stereotypes and brain washing and of course provides her method which may be really something new for less experienced women. Overall, this is a book which has something to offer to both men and women.

Every Woman Can and Should Have Orgasms

Great book
This book pretty much sums up all a man needs to know about picking up women. My only problem was the approach; Clink helped me practically step-by-step on how to get better at the initial approach. He also helps with keeping a conversation and when to stop it. Its just a fantastic book.
Not the best but decent for the price
I've read everything on the subject of seduction.SO its hard for me to view books as someone who is reading it for the first time.I've also read hundreds of articles on seduction and posted the best of them on my website The Seduction Bible.So lets just say, im educated.THat being said:
READS LIKE A LOVE LETTER TO "SPEED SEDUCTION" SHAM ROSS JEFFRIES...
... and although there's some inspiring ideas to be found here, there's also some pretty crazy schemes that could get you into serious trouble (lying in wait along bike paths and jumping in the way of attractive females at the last moment in order to meet them???... that's the kind of thing that'll scare the bejeezus out of women, create a creepy first impression and possibly even get you arrested)... his 3-second rule is also highly questionable: immediately approaching every attractive woman you see within 3 seconds of spotting her - first of all, fussy types with discriminating tastes need a little more time to decide who's worth pursuing and, secondly, in a nightclub scenario, this approach will only make you appear to be a desperately impulsive horndog - and no woman likes being hit on by a horndog (and neither do their jealous boyfriends, a critical "X" factor you have to ascertain before zooming yourself into an awkward situation)... instead, think like one of the big cats on the African plains hunting its prey - be patient, play it cool, scope the room, zero in on your chosen targets, assess their situation and figure out what your approach will be before making your move - after all, what's the big hurry? But if you happen to lock eyes with one of your targets, NOW would be the time to implement the 3-second theory (be cool about it - don't cause drinks to spill on your way over - just casually move in beside her).

Excellent, inspiring and reassuring advice
My wife and I have been married for 7 years. We have had a great time together but gradually we started being colder and less anticipating. It was obvious that the things were going in a bad direction. I was reluctant to rely on a book but a friend of mine recommended me this one so I bought it. I completely agree that this is an excellent book!

Astonishing
I hate self-help books. I'm a Master's candidate in psychology and my relationship was deteriorating fast. I'd been living in a passionateless environment with lots of affection and familiarity. It was causing amazing problems. This book was the most intelligent thing I'd ever read, and it was concise, clear, amusing, and devoid of rediculous jargon and quizzes and self-help steps. It has situations in it that are real and applicable.

Very good info but no Christian advice/values
The book has a lot of good information and insight, but lacks severly in Christian values, I suppose since the other is not a Christian this should not have surprised me. I am not overly conservative but still found some of the info way too far to the left. All in all the basics are good and helpful, as long as you can remember to hold to your personal principles.

The best single's book out there!
If you are into self-improvement and healing, this book is for you. I've read tons of single's books the past few years, but this is the one that I keep on coming back to. The childhood assessment resonates with me - it made things clear why I fall in love or gravitate towards people with certain personalities. I've been utilizing Hendrix's concept of putting a moratorium on my singlehood, while using utilitarian dating. Amazingly, I've learned a lot about myself, and also about other people. I particularly love the detailed strategies on how to mirror, show empathy and validate your potential partner's perspective. Very helpful. This book is very good for repeated reading. I highly recommend this to the GLBT community as well as Hendrix asserts that his Imago concept trancends gender differences. I attended a seminar by a gay therapist and this was one of the books he recommended to prepare one's self with dating and relationships - I couldn't agree with him more. I've also started reading "Getting the Love you Want" and can't wait to finish it!
Such a great read!
Going through a divorce, fired from a job where I was top producer, drug through litigation and dealing with a drinking problem was enough to send me into serious overhaul of my life. Not only did I read this book a couple of times, I have several notebooks with all my exercises that I did from the workbook/study guide. this book is not very good. if you have ever had sex this book does not tell you anything new. basically it tells you a couple positions. guy on top. girl on top. it tells you not to wear a flannel pajamas and bunny slippers to bed if you want to turn your partner on. just basic things that are nothing more than common knowledge. sorry to say im very disappointed and would not reccomend this book.

Become the sex goddess you've always wanted to be!
Or at least be bad in bed, that is to say, be a bad girl. It's all about confidence, the author states, and it is. This book helps to give us women sexual confidence we may have been lacking. It's one of the better books I've read about sex, along with "Good Sex, a woman's guide" among others.
Good book, worth buying
Its a great book for any woman who wants to be a little more outgoing where sex is concerned. Outgoing meaning uninhibited not prostitute or slut girl.It's a very liberating book.The author does not advocate protitution or a loss of self respect, but an incorporation of a healthy sex life into a healthy personality. It is not meant to change your whole persona, just your outlook on sex. For example, the author tells you to go into your underwear drawer and throw away any underwear that you wouldn't want to be caught in if by chance you had the opportunity to be intimate with a hunky movie star. She is not saying to go be with a hunky movie star but to dress in more appealing undergarments for your partner or just for yourself to feel sexy and good about yourself and to be proud of your body. It definitely does not say to go out and sleep with everyone!--not at all.

I find myself making better sex every day.
This is the first time I've felt compelled to write an Amazon book review. This book makes you want to have sex over and over again, I've really needed to take control of my eyaculation, and I now know the divine pleasure of truly satisfying a woman. I'm a 42year old man and I was beginning to worry that my performance was getting worse. This book showed me that performance does not just mean erection and orgasm, but much more. And I'm so grateful for that. I use it as a guide and as a counselor and that's the great thing about it: it can be put to several different uses to great effects! I've recommended it to all of my friends. I'll get more chances to keep giving it as a gift, aside from the fact that the techniques it presents have helped my relationshisp with partner.

This book should be more aptly called "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Boring Sex" as it would more likely state what it really discusses. I have read a number of books on this topic, and have expected it to deliver the goods, but it only spoke on a superficial, elementary level. I think readers deserve more than that! Has anyone reading this book looked at "The Science of Sex" by Dr. Pezzi, MD (google it)? I challenge readers to compare the two books, and see which delivers what it promises.

You don't have to be an "idiot" to enjoy this book!
Whether or not you're well-skilled in sexual matters or a complete beginner, this is THE book to read on the subject. I thought the author did an amazing job with all things sex. It reminded me a bit of "The Guide to Getting it On", as it was very in-depth and revealing look into human sexuaity. But it wasn't text-booky at all.

Get ready for some ecstasy!
I almost didn't buy this book but I am so glad I did. It's got all kinds of great love-making tips inside for the person who's confused or just wants some really fine sex. It is the ultimate and can lead to loads of ecstacy! Inside, I found that the orgasm is closer than I thought and it really helped me define what I wanted in sex.
Surprising
My girlfriend always says everything's fine in bed, but I thought that I'd surprise her with a few new techniques. I've never bought a book like this before, but when I read it I thought it was extremely frank and dealt with the subject matter in a honest and unpretentious way.
MEN, DON'T READ THIS BOOK!
If you don't want great sex gentlemen, then please don't read this book. I do sexual counseling, mostly for women because I work for an OB/GYN office, for low libido or orgasm issues. As a medical professional, this book was extremely informative. For instance, Mr. Leonardi talks about massaging the lower gluteal (butt) area & explains how this gently "pulls" on the vaginal area which causes indirect stimulation. He is medically correct, not to mention that it will also "mentally" arouse her (very important guys). He also talks about "patterns" & emphasizes to not follow your pattern of lovemaking. Psychologically speaking, he is oh, so very on the mark! I know some reviewers thought this small paperback was nothing more than a way for Mr. Leonardi to get his exploits on paper for public viewing, but i must disagree strongly. I found it to be very interesting, specific, medically & psychologically correct. And no, I have never met the author. It also is a very easy read (took me 45 minutes). He is using layman's terms, so if you want something that reads like a medical book, good luck! I don't think you will find one. You see, most Gynecologists don't know there is such a thing as female ejaculation. It is not taught & finding a conference that talks about it & has continuing medical education credits, is virtually non existent. In my 20 yrs of nursing, I just found my first continuing ed. seminar on women's sexuality & health that offers credits. So, in my opinion, this is an essential read for men & women. Extraordinary
This is one of the most unusual, in-depth and extraordinary books I have read recently. Robert Greene is definitely into the know how of "the art of seduction". I agree that this is quite controversial topic and no wonder that some people are reluctant to explore this area of knowledge. Unfortunately, the reality nowadays makes it a must read. Why? Companies try to manipulate people, medias try to channel your opinion and mindset, and if you are successful and good looking man then there may be many women racing to capture you exclusively for themselves. I am thankful to Greene for revealing that seduction is an old art that is relevant more than ever and it is better to know as much as possible about it. Of course, if your intention is to score better with women then I strongly recommend in addition the bestseller scientifically guaranteed male multiple orgasms and ultimate sex. The ultimate goal of such books is to give you an edge over the others, the competition. If you have it, then it will be easier for you to advance and have fun along the way. Otherwise, you may be one of the left behind by someone else who knows the pros and cons in and out of bed.

Yes it is an art!
Greene has clearly drawn out the ways of the seducer.Most of the men and women in here are naturals at seduction and are not consciously doing the principles taught.But those that tend to mess up their seductions can learn quite a few things from these people.With everything i teach at my site The Seduction Bible, i still believe that this book is excellent for those looking to score that one special girl.Those wanting to learn how to go out to a bar to pick up a woman are better off on sites like mine.But this book deserves 5 stars!

Interesting read.
I thought this book was a very interesting read but wonder, will it really work in real life? There are principals to apply and prehaps morals to leave at the door, which seems to be what others are concerned about. However, it probably will work, if you can deal with the fallout that might happen.

Nancy Friday asked women around the world, to send in their sexual fantasies and experiences. What she got even shocked her. Some of, if not THE most provocative fantasies and experiences ever published. I have owned(notice I said "have owned") a couple of copies of this extraordinary book. But each time I bought one, someone would want to "see it", and I would never get it back. Like Forbidden Flowers (a similar publication by Nancy Friday), anytime someone seen me reading a copy, they'd want to read a page. Only thing is, I never had anyone who could only read one page. They would be so captivated by its contents, they'd read more and more. I've had as many as 5 women at a time, come up to me and inquire as to what I was reading, then ask to let them "read a page". As they read, mouths dropped open, eyes would widen, faces would turn flush, and giggles galore would occur. It's amazing how a book can make women in their 20's 30's 40's and 50's act.

My Opinion on In a Different Voice
I thought that I was going to be overwhelmed with feminist views when I first checked this book out of the library; I was rather turned off. But when I started to read, I was intrigued. It was interesting to see the contrast between the different genders.
A Myth is Born
In Psychology, as in other academic disciplines, the normal process is to conduct research on significant numbers of subjects, have the methodology and results peer reviewed, publish the research, then perhaps cross over to mass media.Gilligan has used Harvard's cache to ignore this responsible and time honored protocol.She used tiny samples, reached unwarranted conclusions, rushed them into print on the mass market, and started making the talk show circuit.Now, over 20 years later and after thirty some reprintings, she still has not published her research! Furthermore, she refuses to allow other researchers to see her data!

Originally published in 1982, this book was in its 33rd printing when it was reissued in 1993.It describes the developmental differences between men and women and what that means.Harvard professor Carol Gilligan explains that male development has typically focused on separation, individuation, logic, and hierarchy.Female development, on the other hand, has emphasized attachment, relationship, connection, and communication.I had several "ahas!" while reading this book for the first time in 2003.While I've always discounted some of Sigmund Freud's work, it had never occurred to me that much of traditional psychological theory, including the work of Jean Piaget, Erik Erickson, and Lawrence Kohlberg, has also been based on observations of men, then applied to women.As a result of comparisons to male norms that don't fit their own experience, women have often felt discounted and inferior, rather than simply different.It made sense to me that these comparisons and significant developmental differences often result in women feeling selfish and guilty when focusing on their own needs, rather than those of others.It also fit my experience that men and women tend to respond differently to attachment and separation issues.According to Gilligan, men see danger more often in intimacy than in achievement, while women sense more danger in impersonal and competitive situations.Gilligan's observations have generated quite a bit of controversy over the years (as indicated by some of the previous reviews on this list!), but ring true for many women (including me), and have been used as a stepping stone for the work of many later authors. ... A very good read into the difficulity of sexual relationships.
"Resurrecting Sex" is a great find in that it really confronts probelms many people face in their sexual realationships. It's not all about the catch words of "low-libido" or whatever, there are other factors involved. This book goes into great detail to flush these probelms out and help with sexual matters.

A provocative, humane resource...
Ethical Slut is a provocative, positive in depth practical look into sexual relationships while peering into the actual and potential effects on the participants. As a librarian/researcher in various subject fields I have found this study/map/guide into human sexual relationships to be well thought out if not controversial but humane resource. The authors are well versed in their subject matter that focuses on the multi-layered levels involved in ethical consensual non-monogamy. Written in lay terms, it is highly readable, though not exhaustive, it brings a wealth of clarity to the dynamics of our changing sexual paradigms. Recommended.
