Excellent book for ambivalent doctorate applicants
This book definately contains a great overview of the whole process and feel for what a doctorate degree involves and demands.It also includes a good deal of information on the setbacks that women in doctorate programsmay encounter to prepare them for a doctorate program.Still, this book isdefinately not worth $65.00. not helpful at all
I was so excited when I got this book. I thought it would educate me on what I needed to do for my child. It basically lays out the IEP process and doesn't give any indications on how to fight for services, which we all know is what usually happens. Find another book.

An Important Book
While this book doesn't tell you how to milk the system for all it's worth, it does a good job of laying out a plan that should help you and your child's teacher produce an optimal IEP.It's a helpful workbook that aids in the understanding and use of the IEP.

waste of time and money
Save your money....does nothing in the case of a difficult school district.The idea of "compromising and understanding" the teachers position is nice in a flowery perfect kind of world way....doesn't work when you are trying to get your kid the best you can. ... Read more

Not as good as Barron's
The Princeton Review usually oversimplifies the material that you need to know, so it's probably not such a good idea to get this book if you're having some or lots of trouble with the material. However, the practice questions are really good because they are very similar to the types of questions that are on the AP. A good summary of topics
Before taking the actual AP Psychology test I prepared using this book.It mentioned all the concepts that were on the test, but remember that it is just a review book.Thus, it did not go into depth on many importantconcepts.So, if you don't fully understand something mentioned in thebook, open your textbook to clarify that topic.Furthermore, I thought thepractice tests were very similar to the real exam, so be sure to takethose!Overall, I think perusing the book is an excellent way to preparefor the big test!

Good but not too helpful
This isn't really a bad book it just isn't that helpful in the long run.Requirements (GPA or GRE scores) are missing in most sections, the tuition amount is always outdated.I could see how a book like this was helpful ten years ago but right now I believe the internet is more helpful.All of this information can be found on www.petersons.com for free.Either way if you buy this book you will have to use the internet to get more updated information.Not bad to flip through in the library but not worth the money to buy it. ...
