First,
5-0 out of 5 stars An incredibly important work.
I first learned of this book while listening to an audiobook by Wayne W. Dyer. While reading it, I realized it was one of the most important books I would ever be exposed to. The author goes into such amazing detail. This is a must-read for anyone wanting to improve not only their own life but humanity as well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book and any other book written by Dr. David R. Hawkins.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great book
This book pretty much sums up all a man needs to know about picking up women. My only problem was the approach; Clink helped me practically step-by-step on how to get better at the initial approach. He also helps with keeping a conversation and when to stop it. Its just a fantastic book.
3-0 out of 5 stars Not the best but decent for the price
I've read everything on the subject of seduction.SO its hard for me to view books as someone who is reading it for the first time.I've also read hundreds of articles on seduction and posted the best of them on my website The Seduction Bible. So lets just say, im educated.THat being said:
3-0 out of 5 stars READS LIKE A LOVE LETTER TO "SPEED SEDUCTION" SHAM ROSS JEFFRIES...
... and although there's some inspiring ideas to be found here, there's also some pretty crazy schemes that could get you into serious trouble (lying in wait along bike paths and jumping in the way of attractive females at the last moment in order to meet them???... that's the kind of thing that'll scare the bejeezus out of women, create a creepy first impression and possibly even get you arrested)... his 3-second rule is also highly questionable: immediately approaching every attractive woman you see within 3 seconds of spotting her - first of all, fussy types with discriminating tastes need a little more time to decide who's worth pursuing and, secondly, in a nightclub scenario, this approach will only make you appear to be a desperately impulsive horndog - and no woman likes being hit on by a horndog (and neither do their jealous boyfriends, a critical "X" factor you have to ascertain before zooming yourself into an awkward situation)... instead, think like one of the big cats on the African plains hunting its prey - be patient, play it cool, scope the room, zero in on your chosen targets, assess their situation and figure out what your approach will be before making your move - after all, what's the big hurry? But if you happen to lock eyes with one of your targets, NOW would be the time to implement the 3-second theory (be cool about it - don't cause drinks to spill on your way over - just casually move in beside her).

5-0 out of 5 stars We Want More!
In his adroitly served "Enough", Juan Williams meticulously defends the honor and polishes the tarnished star of Sir William Cosby. While retorting to the haters of individual responsibility, Mr. Williams offers real solutions (not just talk), to the plague that has infected multitudes of African Americans, who live on both sides of the tracks! His intricate weaving of history, politics, and culture qualifies his work as required reading for all with any trace of African ancestry. As a matter of fact, it would be good reading for anyone with any dealings with African Americans, which leaves out no one.

3-0 out of 5 stars I really really wanted to write a good review...
I first heard of this book on a radio show and was very impressed with Williams' take on black leadership in America.I was shocked to hear these words coming from Juan Williams, who is the token liberal (whoever thought that "token" and "liberal" would ever go together?) on FOX News.I began reading the book thinking that I would be as impressed with the ideas expressed by Williams as much as I was will Bill Cosby's 2004 speech.I was disappointed for two major reasons:
4-0 out of 5 stars Only Half the Job is Done
Juan Williams gets an "A" for effort, but this book does not go far enough. It is part of the dishonest black circular firing squad started by Cosby, where blame is readily meted out when the cause is black men, but the punches are carefully pulled when the cause seems attributable elsewhere, perhaps, god forbid, even to irresponsible black women.

This clear and valuable book dispels a variety of myths about attention deficit disorder (ADD). Since both authors have ADD themselves, and both are successful medical professionals, perhaps there's no surprise that the two myths they attack most persistently are: Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Well Written
This book was suggested to me ater recently being diagnosed with ADHD. Anyone who has a brother, sister, child, mother or friend with ADHD should read this book. Because it is so well written it gives the reader real insight into how the ADHD mind intereprets and responds to everyday activities. Books like this one will help to dispell the myth that ADHD= "hyperactive, over drugged kids who refuse to pay attention" and "lazy, irresponsible adults looking for excuses".

5-0 out of 5 stars This should be required reading to get a prescription!!!
It's simple, any parent filling a prescription for any ADD medication for thier child should have to first read this book or any other written by Dr. Hallowell. My son was diagnosed 9 years ago and I knew I connected with him better than anyone else but I didn't know why. Since 1 year ago I was diagnosed I started to understand but until I read this book and a couple of others (I think I have close to 15 ADD books) and realized what A.D.D really is I didn't get it. I'm not sure someone who is not gifted with A.D.D will ever really get it but if they read more books like this one maybe they would at least understand a little more and minimize the damage created by trying to fit the child into their small world.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best of its kind.
I recently came across the title as cited by several different people as a book that was important in their life, and I'm grateful that I did. It encompasses all of the ideas expressed in many other books of its type, however it doesn't leave anything out, while addressing each topic in a succinct way. It is not new, and a few of the examples given will be dated. That doesn't lessen it's messages in anyway.

5-0 out of 5 stars worth every cent
Written around 50 years ago this book still holds true. It is incredibly easy to read and will help your gear your mind towards success. Like most 'success' based books the concepts in here won't make your jaw drop in shock and awe as they are all essentially pretty simple - Think Success and Gain Success. The belief in your ability to achieve something is the first and most important step towards success. Believing you can, will spur your mind to support your belief with reasons, it will find a HOW so you can achieve your goal. Conversely, if you believe you can't, your mind will find reasons to support your claim,

5-0 out of 5 stars It Works
Been studying this book with my Network Marketing team. Was so good I had to read ahead! In my current job I've been applying this and the results have been absolutely noticable even by my boss!
5-0 out of 5 stars An excellent tool for leadership development
As a university student, I initially purchased this book to review for an assignment in a Leadership Theory course, but the value I received from this text was greater than expected. Maxwell's reputation as a leadership expert is one of the reasons I chose this book, but another reason was that this book focuses not only on the concepts of leadership in general but mainly on personal leadership development. Overall, I enjoyed this book, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in the study of leadership or developing their own leadership abilities. I found John C. Maxwell's work to be very inspirational and very applicable to real-world applications. After having contemplated what leadership truly means and how it affects us on a daily basis, it is easier to see that its impact is all around us in some form or to some degree. As Maxwell puts it, "everything rises and falls on leadership," and anyone with the desire to do so can become a better leader. This book explains how to do it effectively.

5-0 out of 5 stars Favorite short read on leadership
I have studied the subject of leadership for several years and continue to return to this book as the best short-read on the subject ever written. I read it at least once a year just to refresh myself. The stories are well chosen and the principals are sound. It is not an in-depth treatise but provides an excellent foundation for understanding the difference between leadership and management - which is greatly lacking today. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Helpful method to direct thinking patterns
All of Dr. de Bono's book are full of tips that make you think about thinking, some go into deep technicalities while other repeat variations-on-a-theme. This book is one of the best I've read on a coherent method to adopt as a group and to even impose on others so as to to have every thought and emotion in its proper and valid compartment.
4-0 out of 5 stars De Bono will make you THINK
Every so often you read a book that is so obvious that you are amazed you did not see it before. For me, this is such a book. Yes, I could argue about the slow nature of the book, about the style or choice of phrase. However, the very simple idea (singular) at the core hit me like a billiard ball between the eyes at three paces.

4-0 out of 5 stars I reckon it is better to watch the author's video seminar, High Impact Leadership
Many years ago, I watched Mark Sanborn's three-volume video seminar entitled 'High Impact Leadership'. In the video seminar, the author explains very eloquently the significant differences between a manager & a leader. He shares what motivates a leader & how he projects personal power. Plus, he relates how a leader sell his vision & ideas to the people around him. I enjoyed the seminar very much. In fact, I have assimilated & internalised many of his principles in my own personal leadership.
5-0 out of 5 stars Mark Sanborn has done it again!!!
A must read for anyone who wants to make a positive difference, a much written about subject written with Mr Sanborn's unique ability to make it all so easy to understand. Be sure to have that marker handy.
5-0 out of 5 stars A wonderful book showing how selflessness can influence the improvement of the team
"You Don't Need a Title to Be a Leader: How Anyone, Anywhere, Can Make a Positive Difference" is a really good book, in which the writer, Mark Sanborn, explores the true meaning of leadership and the qualities associated with such an individual, one of them not being that individual's title. On the contrary, the qualties to which Sanborn speaks are inclusive of, but not restricted to, being an attentive listener, setting purpose-driven goals, which goes along with not necessarily being the hardest worker, and helping others to better develop themselves. Sanborn's book also provides some inspiring anecdotes from individuals who have used these methods and subsequently discovered the leader within themselves while also influencing changes for the better within their community. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Outstanding book on parenting with Christian perspective
The 5 Love Languages of Children by Gary D. Chapman & Ross Campbell is another installment in Chapman's excellent Love Languages series.I've read the book for couples and the one for teens, and both helped me understand my family much better. The premise is that each person has a primary love language (the five being: physical touch, words of affirmation, acts of service, quality time, and gifts) and to fully fill somone's love tank, we need to speak their language.Unfortunately, we all too often speak our own language fluently, but if that's not the language of the child, they don't feel loved and it leads to resentment on both sides.Chapman does a wonderful job of giving examples of how to figure out your child's love language as well as ideas for learning to speak it.There's also information on discipline and handling anger. There is so much good parenting packed into this slim book!Since reading the book, I've been able to understand my own children better, and I've seen changes in them. These are lessons to be learned and clung to.

5-0 out of 5 stars Exection of Covey's Concept of Emotional Bank Account
As a husband with two children, this book is outstanding in providing a way to execute Covey's concept of making deposits into the emotional bank accounts of those you care very deeply for.I read the book years ago and still find it has great value.

5-0 out of 5 stars If you need help with managing your emotions, this is it
I have had issues dealing with past emotional pains and while I have not yet gone through this whole book, I am definately finding help and a greater understanding of my problems through the portions that I have gone over.I cannot wait to finish this and to see my complete transformation from a person who just floats from mood to mood without taking resposibility for them, to a person who is aware and is taking responsibility for her emotional destiny.
