Deceiving and disappointing
For those of us who need to limit our intake of fat to 2 grams or less per meal, this book is a huge disappointment.Now if it hadn't advertised itself as 'low fat' I wouldn't have had any gripes, but if you look in theforward, the book itself states that by low fat the authors mean '3 gramsor less' yet there are recipes in this book containing a whopping 21 gramsper serving.Furthermore, only about 1 in five that I could see flickingthrough it were within my range.Very disappointing!Had I flickedthrough it in a bookstore I would have passed it by.Be warned.

Easy, quick recipes
This is a great cookbook for anyone who needs to cut back on fat and calories...I follow Richard Simmons food plan and this book fits perfectly with his Move, Groove and Lose program.The recipes are quick and usethings you will most likely find already in your kitchen.

A great way to healthier, thinner living!
When I decided to take control of my eating and my life, I found this book. It was a great inspiration. It gave me the strength to change my eating habits for life, and to exercise and take care of myself.

A good book if you want to gain weight.
If you like"Association Diets," especially one from one of the most politically agressive and media savvy organizations, this one is for you. Provides some good information but not very in-depth
What information this book does have is very well-organized, clearcut,easy to understand.Not very unique information nor in depth.A decentintroductory book but not good to have if you already have or plan onbuying other good books on diabetes.Toomany of what would have beenhelpful sections spend a page or two basically telling you to consult yourinsurance, your dietician or other sources--I'd say more than 1/3 of thebook doesn't really contain information. ...
