Best out of his three alcohol and drug books
I got an advance copy of this book, and now want to buy one for my friend, this is his best of the three that I know of, that he wrote, the other two being on prevention and a guide in the drug and alcohol area.I've been to Aftercare, and I guess to be honest, I kind of forgot what it was all about, matter of fact,not until I read his book did I fully understand now, what the counselor was aiming for.I wish I'd have read it before I went to the group.Anyways, it was an easy read, and its really a small book, can read it in one setting.But it got all you need in it. ... Best book ever!

(RAW Rating: 3.5) -The Facts of Life
Growing up, I was taught the facts of life by my mother.I learned the difference between true friends and people who call themselves your friends. There were lessons on respecting myself and not allowing others to disrespect me. Managing money was one of the more difficult areas we ventured into. When it was time to date, I knew the games boys played. Unfortunately, many young women were not raised as I was and did not learn these and many other important lessons. No parent knows it all, but MOVING OUT AND MOVING ON reveals facts of life that all female teens, and their mothers should be aware of.
