I wish I'd purchased this book when I was first diagnosed with SLE in 1991. This book shows specifically how the disease attacks each organ system, relevant research, and treatment. DESERVES NO STARS
COULD THIS BOOK BE WORSE???THIS GUY IS A MONSTER AND I AM SO GLAD HE IS NOT MY HUSBAND.I HAVE READ A LOT ABOUT LUPUS BUT THIS IS THE WORST BOOK EVER.THE ONE AND ONLY ONE THAT ACTUALLY MADE ME MAD AT THE WRITER.SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND READ ONE OF THE EXCELLENT BOOKS ON LUPUS BY COMPASSIONATE FOLKS.THIS MAN IS NOT ONE OF THEM.HE NEEDS TO GO TO CHURCH AND START PRAYING RIGHT AWAY.

God's Plan Included Lupus
God has nothing to do with Lupus. This story is about a self-centered man. Don't buy it or read it if you have a brain left.

This Book Stunk
This book stunk. Their are no victims with lupus - especially in this book. There is the wife who is a survivor and then there is the husband - uneducated and self centered when it comes to lupus.Read more

Excellent
This book gave me a great amount of knowledge and detail about Lupus.However, I especially enjoyed the author's table talk approach.The text was not weighted down with too many medical terms. Instead, the author did an excellent job of sharing her everyday battles and victories with Lupus.The encouraging words and advice she offers can be applied to improve everyday life, not only those living and battling with Lupus. Excellent!

Family
I have had two family members to die from Lupus.And I still didn't have a clue of what it was. This book gave me great knowledge of the disease. It also gave me insight of what my family members were going through. I really enjoyed the book.
