Covers a wide variety of cases and those affected
It starts out with a number of cases and different kinds of people that are most prone to the disease. The book shows how some people can barely breath and others it only affects every so often. It has a lot a medicalterminolgy that might be hard for some to understand. Over all a goodintroduction to the disease.

AGOOD BOOK
Although this is a non-fiction book, it was very helpful in understandingthe disease. Another book that does even a better job of this is theficitonal novel, Stolen Moments by Barbara Jeanne Fisher . ..Ms Fisher haslupus and wrote this book with her heart! This book was very informative to me.I have read many books about lupus,butI still learned some things from thisbook. Doesn't explain much about thetests, but all in all was a prettygood book.

Not enough helpful hints for coping
The person with lupus must struggle with strong and conflicting emotionswhile trying to maintain as normal a life as possible despite pain,disability, and changes in personal relationships. This book attempts tooffer ideas for dealing with these problems. VERY INFORMATIVE
I read this book and found it to contain lots of very imortantinfromation. . It was well researched. Read more
