At last!
I got this book the instant it came out.This is the topic I have been looking for from Deepak. I've always felt that his background in medicine, spiritual experience and wisdom traditions puts him in an almost unique position to really dig into the subject of the afterlife. He really delivers. This is a facinating read for the intellectually and spiritually curious.
Pseudo Science
Chopra attempts to use the language of science to disguise absolute rubbish and convoluted thinking. Don't waste your time with this pseudo science dribble.

One of the Best Chopra Books! The Core of it all.
Exceptional and brief book that hits the nail on the head with the main ideas and practices that can transform your life and help you to achieve what you want. I believe that Chopra initially did not like the word success for this book because it often registers for people as more materialistic than he means. This is a about life success in a grand and overarching way. Outstanding and HIGHLY Recommended!

I have read most all of Deepak Chopra's books - this one has a different presentaton style and makes for an entertaining reading and learning experience! I think everyone else in their book reviews have nailed the importance of this book and what it is about - but for me it was one one of his best books! A great gift buy for someone you love!

Deepak Chopra helped turn my life around years ago--I'm so glad others have discoverd him and his insightful advice. Especially today, this book is needed. Makes a great gift also.

Lost opportunity
Dr. Chopra is a dear man.To be in his presence is a powerful experience.But sometimes it's painful to read his work, as when he goes over the same material again and again, chapter after chapter.Mimicking his one time spiritual master, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who does the same thing so much more elegantly.

Listening towards Enlightenment
This is for the audio version.Chopra shows new ways of thinking to help us down our path of enlightenment.His thoughts are wise, in line with other masters yet with a new perspective, doable.In this audio book he has practical and interesting excercises to help you realize many of the perscriptions he reccomends. It is a bit frustrating to rewind on the iPod to get to the correct section to do each excercise but worth it since his voice aides in acheiving the meditative outlook he often suggests. As a listening expereince, he reads his book with clarity, interest and emotion - very well done and very enjoyable.Overall this was an excellent experience.

A marvelous thesis suggesting there are no coincidences
Deepak Chopra reviews the evidence that confirms we are all linked together in a web of consciousness. Going well beyond this basic fact, he weaves a marvelous thesis suggesting that there are no coincidences. Every single event is pregnant with meaning. The challenge is to open ourselves to become aware of the invitations in what appear to be coincidences - to waken to our participation in the web of ongoing creation.
Deepak's best work yet
I have not only read this book twice, I have listened to the audio-book version more times than I can count. This is one of Deepak's best works yet - and every time I listen to it I learn something new that I had not picked up earlier. It really is a wonderful work that in a way brings together Deepak's many years of study and practice in the world of mind-body connection. It starts with a review of the foundation of his philosophy, which is the quantum world - it updates and expounds on his prior works on this subject with the most recent discoveries and findings by the worlds leading physicists. He explains the interaction of the human conciousness with the quantum world in a way that is very understandable for the average person. From there he takes the reader into meditation techniques, architypes, and sutras, that lift one's understanding of expanded conciousness to new levels, and then goes into how to use these practices to accomplish wonderful things with your life. This book prompted my wife and I to attend one of his lectures, which expounded on both this book, and his most recent work "The Book of Secrets". Even though it is based in eastern philosophy, in general the work is religion-neutral, that is to say that it can be applied to anyone's religious convictions. All I can say is that we have found both books to be life changing.

WORD GAMES
AGELESS BODY is Deepak's attempt to neutralize the word "old" as in old age.The writer has a knack for making common words, like "body, "mind" and "self," into profound concepts.His technique is to overlay his abstract ideas with suggestive experimental studies.But ambiguity in interpreting these studies abound.

Never Sick anymore
Dr. Chopra is personally responsible for my complete change in beliefs on being sick. In his book, he states clearly and simply that the natural state of the body is health, not illness. And after reading that, something in my mind locked onto it, believed it and for the last 10 years my body has been living it! I no longer think I need to be sick to build antibodies to various diseases, I simply allow my body to be healthy- even in the midst of coughing and wheezing people. It is a mindset for which I am extremely grateful! A highly valuable read.

A reply to the "nonsense" review
A gentle response to the reviewer who thinks this book is nonsense: For your kind information, Carbon is an atom, not a molecule. Now, I am not really a fan of Deepak Chopra, but if this is the level of your scientific knowledge, you hardly have any right to make statements about Dr. Chopras lack or otherwise of scienticic knowledge!

A subject beyond words, until Chopra wrote about it
The beauty of the book is how Chopra wrote it for everyone.We are all spiritual beings following a spiritual path.And it is the same path.Whether Chopra is a multimillionaire or not makes no difference (he is).Whether he has a multitude of critics makes no difference either (he does).I have a few cautions for the reader and then hopefully I'll convince you that the book is worth reading.
Beautiful
This book is an amazing explanation of how we as human beings percieve God, and it gives brilliant insights on how to get in closer contact to the true essance of God. I was skeptical of reading this book partly due to the title. "How does Mr. Chopra know how to know God!" I thought. But I was amazed how practicle this book was. Anyone who is serious about knowing the true nature of God should get this.

Concocted Wishful Thinking
My mother recently ordered this book by Mr. Chopra and was urging me to read it. She spoke very highly of it and told me that he used science to prove God and such, etc. Allow me to be upfront. I am a skeptic, and a firm Atheist. I do not believe in the backward illogical concept of God that most religion would scare you to believe in. But I decided to keep an open mind, as I always do, and I read Mr. Chopra's "How To Know God" from cover to cover.

A Plea for Openness
This book describes the process of research through improvised scientific techniques designed to determine whether mediumship has any legitimacy.The easy answer of skeptics like Michael Shermer, Ray Hyman, James Randi, and the like, for all mediumship claims, is that they must be the product of "cold reading."That is, they are certain that there is no way such claims can be legitimate because they, first, do not believe in life after death (a beginning assumption), second, fall back to the position that "extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof," and that no matter what evidence is placed before them, it will never be sufficient under that criterion, third, they assert that mediums play a parlor game with subjects by making general claims based on probabilities, and twist the responses, look for suggestive clues, and feed back to the subject just what the subject wants to hear.
Opens your eyes
The author wrote the book to address our intellect, not our emotions. There is nothing "misty" and "spiritual" about his writing style or his facts. He is a scientist who, with professional hoax-exposers (hired to spot any funny business or "magic tricks"), put five psychic mediums through a series of tests to either prove or disprove their claims that they communicate with the deceased. Then they tested the results against a control group of non-psychics, and reported their findings.

Become a Master of ALL Possibilities
Dr Chopra details a highly readable and easy to follow "map" of creating affluence in every area of our lives. He claims that reading the entire book once through, then subsequently reading 5 pages daily will, if adopted as a lifelong habit... attract wealth!
Save your money !.. Read some Physics books instead
This tape is really waste of money. I liked some tapes from Chopra but here he is loosing total focus about what he is talking about.

Finally, an Indian Kama Sutra!
There are some Indians who look down on authors who choose to retell classical works of Indian literature--in particular, works seen as 'Hindu' in content. Perhaps it's a colonial hangover--the old 'British knew best' attitude that continues to plague the English-speaking urban elite even today. But speaking for the growing number of people like myself who hunger to rediscover the richness of our heritage and past, I can honestly say that our interest in the classics has nothing to do with things like Hindutva, Ram Mandir, and all that political claptrap! Just as one respects and loves one's mother and finds 'her story' fascinating--because her story is also our story--so one delves into 'history' as well.

Even though most of us would be uncomfortable leaving a book which so boldly celebrates our sexuality out in the open, this book is so beautifully done that you might be tempted to leave it on the coffee table.The artwork is spectacular.At first I was so struck by the beauty and sensuality of the artwork I didn't do much reading, just paging through enjoying the images - even images of lovemaking which would normally shock or embarrass me seemed beautiful and natural.Okay, some still seemed shocking, but in the back of my mind lurks the possibility that within the context of a loving relationship there is purity and godliness within those erotic acts and images.Could that be true?

Not for everyone
This is not an easy book to read, but for the spiritual seeker it can be stimulating and rewarding. Goswami is an expert at quantum physics and explains how it helps to reveal spiritual phenomena. His explanations are clear but also tedious. He answers practically every question that can be anticipated; however,in doing so he risks losing all but the most determined reader.
THE AHAH! BOOK
I was about four years old when I discovered that things die, and the outrage that I felt at this news has fueled a fifty year search to understand what we're doing here. This is not my only literary quest, but it is a big one, and it has taken me all over the map. When I studied relativity and quantum physics in college, I saw - 'through a glass darkly' - that this was an important piece of the puzzle, but real understanding eluded me. I just bought the The Visionary Window, and I knew almost immediately, that this, for me, was the Ahah! book - the one that brought all the pieces together. I recommend it highly.

Hold a Webster with you for this
Although the book seems to be sincere effort in terms of the treatment of subject, but the language is too tricky with very very esoteric terminology used. Also the use of word 'quantum' seems to be too casual and thus the terms such as 'quantum monad' seem too ambiguous. Perhaps when Mr Goswami has finally reached some perspective about 'truth', he will realize that any truth that can be expressed, ceases to be 'the truth'. ... Read more

Who's guess that Deepak could hit a hole-n-one on Golf... A+ listen as an Audion CD or download. This is excellent book to kill time on a long drive or to listen to in the background as you work on the computer.
Approaches mental aspect of golf uniquely.
I think this is a good book on golf on the mental side.However, I don't agree with that a golf swing just disappears.With the proper technique, the effective golf swing will not disappear.I also like the book he had written many years ago called Creative Visualization--great mental imagery.In addition, I found Patrick Leonardi's book titled:
A nice change of pace for a golf book
The game of golf in my opinion is 50% mechanics and 50% psychological. Golfers tend to get sour when they over-analyze everything from the swing to the short game. It is just as important to learn to relax and enjoy the game. Chopra brings this point home. Enjoy the game with its ups and downs as you would the game of life.

Chopra tells us "there is a fundamental mystery to the soul, that its integrity is not violated by merging with another person.The blending of two spirits brings more to the union than each person started with." (pg 158)This idea is thousands of years old, predictable, and still very popular. But if spirit is already whole, perfect, and needing nothing, how could it be made more perfect by merging with another?Chopra further asserts that "when they are fully committed in love, the husband sees God in the wife and the wife sees God in the husband." (Pg 160) Yet for many people romantic relationships distract from and substitute for God.This fundamental problem is not addressed. Full of insights about the Self, Love, and relationships
Being unfamiliar with the writings of Deepak Chopra when I first got this book, I didn't think, judging by the size of it, that it would take me that long to read, or that I would have any trouble understanding some of the concepts that were presented to me.Boy, was I wrong.This book is so full of knowledge that you will have to read it a couple of times to get the full understanding of what the author is saying.Not that this is by any means a bad thing.I have been reading the Conversations with God series on and off for about five years now, and every time I read it I learn something new.It is quite similiar with this book.Like anything, though, you have to approach it with an open mind, otherwise the overall message of the book will be lost.Still, it provides many unique insights into what love actually is, how to attain bliss within a relationship, and several meditations that will help you achieve what the author is talking about at the present time.For instance, when talking about how the ego influences needs within a relationship, a meditation will be presented to you whose purpose is to try to chip away at the ego. This book should be mandartory to read. Chopak walks us through a light that we all have within us but so few of us truly find. A Path of Love is not a religious book nor self help, in my opinion. Best for the already enlightened
This tape seems to have been made with no thought to the listening audience. Cosmic Dance with God
Music begins this fascinating experience with Deepak that sets the stage for Gods arrival, although Deepak kiddingly jokes that perhaps he will have to wait...God that is...actually his entire discussion revolves around God. The music sounds like what I believe a cosmic dance would sound like...and we learn that this music comes from Malcolm's soul and is his expression from his inner self expressed outwardly to benefit all of creation with the beauty. It begins our dance with God, a dance that lasts forever for our soul is eternal. Deepak quotes Bible scripture as saying that in the Gospel of John "first there was the word and the word became flesh." In the book of Genesis God said "let there be light" and created light, and we are beings of light manifested from Gods love wrapped in the flesh to experience our human being-ness. When science and spirituality meet it creates "weird science" which is explained on page 88 of "The Living Energy Universe" by Gary Schwartz a
