5-0 out of 5 stars How to use ACIM to Forgive your Parents
This audio came just at the right time for me. It requires a knowlege of A Course in Miracles to follow it well. 5-0 out of 5 stars A great gem
Marrianne Williamson's work is both real and honest.Rather than couch things in a concepts that are alien or extremely religious, she talks to you about the realities of existing.Of how things will not always be easy, about how you will lose your way, and honestly how to see people clearly.Growth is messy, it's not neat, maturity is not easy, nor is spirtiuality delicate work, but with assistance from a tape like this you can see yourself clearly and how to bridge yourself from concept to human to spiritual being.

5-0 out of 5 stars Miracles Do Happen
This is my favorite piece by Marianne Williamson so far.Not only did I feel a great sense of relief and peace after beginning to forgive my parents and let go of much of the anger and resentment I felt, but I actually felt the universe shift in my favor. For example I began to let go of the resentment I felt towards my mother for not supporting me, and then the strangest thing happened.Shebegan to support me like never before. My universe shifted, and no matter how small it was,it was a miracle. If you are ready for a miracle in your life, listen to or read anything by Marianne Williamson. ... Editorial Review

Talk about an audacious title! But Suze (pronounced "Suzie") Orman means business in this anecdote-rich compendium of tips on 401(k)s, marriage, homes, and happiness. The PBS star/financial adviser has made plenty of the mistakes she warns against, like getting a 30-year mortgage instead of a cheaper 15-year, using Visa cards as magic carpets to calamity, and losing $20,000 in borrowed bucks to bum investment advice. Then she became a Merrill Lynch broker and an author capable of selling 10,000 books in 12 minutes on QVC. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars LAW OF ATTRACTING MONEY
I have long been a fan ofThe Suze Orman Show on CNBC so I do not know why it took me so long to read one of her books. Her advice is always right on the mark about finances and this book is perfectly in line with that. She has plenty of great advice on buying a home, explaining mortgages, and how to decide which life insurance policy, annuity, or bonds are best for you. The book will be very useful for anyone who needs easy to understand descriptions of these financial concerns.

Overall, the Powertalk tape series gives you a tremendous bang for the buck. This isn't true of all TR products on the market. 5-0 out of 5 stars Outstanding book on parenting with Christian perspective
The 5 Love Languages of Children by Gary D. Chapman & Ross Campbell is another installment in Chapman's excellent Love Languages series.I've read the book for couples and the one for teens, and both helped me understand my family much better. The premise is that each person has a primary love language (the five being: physical touch, words of affirmation, acts of service, quality time, and gifts) and to fully fill somone's love tank, we need to speak their language.Unfortunately, we all too often speak our own language fluently, but if that's not the language of the child, they don't feel loved and it leads to resentment on both sides.Chapman does a wonderful job of giving examples of how to figure out your child's love language as well as ideas for learning to speak it.There's also information on discipline and handling anger. There is so much good parenting packed into this slim book!Since reading the book, I've been able to understand my own children better, and I've seen changes in them. These are lessons to be learned and clung to.

5-0 out of 5 stars Exection of Covey's Concept of Emotional Bank Account
As a husband with two children, this book is outstanding in providing a way to execute Covey's concept of making deposits into the emotional bank accounts of those you care very deeply for.I read the book years ago and still find it has great value.

1-0 out of 5 stars how to love a women: on intimacy and erotic life of a women
No Comment I never received it amazon couldn't get it for me.

5-0 out of 5 stars About Love and Self
With her rich and poetic voice, Dr. Estes presents, in a most unique fashion, the insight into relationship. Her use of poetry and indigenous folk tales somehow manage to define the kind of relationship I want and can have with my husband of 23 years.Key was her discussion of the life/death/life cycle as natural and something to be embraced, not feared.I have the tape on audio and listen to it almost daily, like a prayer.

5-0 out of 5 stars Resonating Soul Food
She has the most beautiful rich voice which starts a slow heart beat deep within the soul. She tells the most surprising, extraordinary stories that feed the Old Hungry Ones who have been begging for alms at the side of the road, deep within us. The story of Sketeton Woman is particularly poetic and vivid and it will sing to you long after you've first heard it. Her poetic renditions/reinterpretations of Sappho are luscious and will make your skin shiver with delight. This is a down-to-earth, deeply wise and delicious offering which I would recommend, in Estes words, "for men who love women, women who love women or anyone who has tasted the Feminine God and found her . . .".This is for anyone seeking soulful relationship with the world and others in it. It is something you never tire of listening to. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Life Changing
I have read most of Wayne Dyer's books over the course of the past few years. This is because find him to be more than an extraordinarily gifted writer, but rather a truly inspiring example of how one can not only change ones own life - but also dramatically affect the lives of others for the better.
5-0 out of 5 stars Inspiration
Excellent. Dr. Dyer is doing what he does best, communicate and educate in the realms we are not a accustom to thinking in.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Gem of a Book
This is one of the most amazing, touching, beautiful books I have ever read. Dr. Dyer goes into such detail on how to live life the way it's meant to be lived, by being in touch with your soul, which connected to the divine intelligence, knows the right thing to do in any situation.Love can truely overcome all things, and love and peace are the ultimate quests in life. If everyone would do what Dr.Dyer suggested, our world would become a paradise.A lot of his ideas, returning love for hate, being non-judemental and forgiving, letting go of the need to be right and have the last word, require an advanced state of spiritual evolution, but is within the reach of all, and is the only true answer to obtaining inner peace and oneness with the Divine.I love this book, and I love Dr.Dyer. Thanks you Dr.Dyer for all you have done. I love you.

3-0 out of 5 stars Read this before you buy!
I wish to say first of all that I am a great advocate of the superlearningtechniques, but I have to say that this audio is basically just the sameold stuff regurgitated using different examples! By all means, learn aboutthe technique and use it, but i would recommend the"Superlearning" book or the boxed set. This tape is enjoyable tolisten to, but it has virtually nothing new. In fact i can say that, havingread several books by te authors which are good, I have to say, I foundjust ONE piece of new and useful information on this cassette. The factthat I cannot recall it now while writing this review probably demonstratesthat it was nothing so life-changing after all! For newcomers, it does givean overview of the technique which could probably enable you to put it touse (which is why I rate it as a 3) but if you are superlearning initiatedalready, you have nothing to buy this tape for! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Resource for Communication Ever
This book is the best book I've ever read and studied on communication. This is why...I can "do it" all by myself. I don't have to have the other person's agreement to follow a certain format or dynamic. This book, single-handedly increased my skill in communication over 10 fold. The information has assisted me in facilitating groups, navigating difficult situations and discussions, resolving upsets and conflicts, and has greatly boosted my self confidence in relationships.
5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful book, actually has ethical advise
Most books on persuasion teach you ways to find you "advesaries" weaknesses and exploit them. This book actually gives you the tools topersuade people through true understanding. It also allows the peopleinvolved to come to a decision together, so that no one feels like theywere manipulated into the solution.Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Really poor audio quality
Purchased this and it's been very frustrating to listen to this because of the poor audio quality. You definitely need to practice mindfulness to hear what is being said.Don't waste your money on this recording.

2-0 out of 5 stars Horrible sound quality
I am so sad to say how disappointed I was with the quality of this tape. Thich Nhat Hanh has so much wisdom to share, but this tape was frustrating to listen to, between the muffled tone and the audience coughs, laughs, and sneezes.I hate to say it, but this deserves a pass, especially considering the content is good....if you can hear it. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Achieve!
This book helps a person to see how visualizing success leads to taking the actions which result in success. Positive thinking is a habit, which if cultivated, can change an individual's life for the better. The point is illustrated by a story attributed to Socrates. A stranger was asked what kind of people were in the city he left and he replied they weren't very nice, they were cheaters, liars, and those of similar nature. Socrates let the man know he'd find the same kind of people in Athens. A second man was asked about the kind of people he had experienced in his previous location and he said wonderful people. Socrates told him he would find the same kind of people in Athens. The moral is you see what you perceive you will find. Self-fulfilling prophecy can be found in personal relationships. Canfield and Hansen help their readers to see things from the perspective of the second person Socrates interviewed.

4-0 out of 5 stars How to train your subconscious to be useful
If there is something in life that you want, and you haven't got it yet, then do yourself the great favour of reading this fine book by Jack and Mark. Based around the classic Napolean Hill principle "whatever mancan conceive and believe he can be achieve", Dare to Win helps thereader understand how this principle actually works and offers strategiesto help train your subconscious to help you achieve all the things youconsciously want.5-0 out of 5 stars Truly Inspiring
This wonderful book focuses on how we can change our lives by changing the way we think about life. The three keys stressed are to write down our goals, then visualize and affirm them. After reading this book, Iimmediately started applying the techniques in my own life and also sharethem with others in the "Success Skills Seminars" I present. This is mustreading for those serious about improving their careers and personal life. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars the longer version is better
this guy is great. bought his longer version of this subject a long time ago. listened to it so much that i wore the tapes out. it is a shame they have not caught up to the 21st century and published them on CD. seems like alot of publishers are still reluctant to do that for some reason. do they still manufacture cassette players? does anyone even still own a cassette player?

5-0 out of 5 stars I've had these two little cassettes with big ideas since they first came out and
I still listen to them from time to time, and they are very powerful, and I agree with the last reviewer about the image streaming concept, though I was one of those "naturally proficient" visualizers before, now I'm, well... almost "miraculous". How he integrates the modern with the ancient 'technicians of the sacred' is still amazing to me, a concept as old as the mountain, yet with all the times that I have listened to the tapes, he makes it as fresh as tomorrow with his presentation. A little background I first got them in December, 1994 when I was going through a very bad time until January 1995 when I started to turn it around with those and other potent techniques. All I'm going to say here, is go for it, what can you lose when you can see the winnings in your mind. Thank you for reading this review.
5-0 out of 5 stars Longer version is better
I first got the 2 cassette edition, which I found good but I wanted more info.I found the 6 cassette package on an auction site and found it much better, very complete and he does a good job with instruction.Dr. Pulos has a very good speaking voice that the tape set is not at all boring.I found the exercises very easy to conduct and very profound.Highly recommend this self-study program.I have always found visualization exercises from books to be difficult to perform. Here, Dr. Pulos leads you through the exercises and answers most of the questions one has about how to perform the techniques. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars HE : A must have / read book for every man growing up
After gaining personal insights that I had never seen articulated so well, I gave HE to all my sons -5 - one of whom told me "that HE was a book which should be made mandatory reading for every boy in high school. HE helps put the forces which drive male psycholgy in perspective and balance incredibly well.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Grail serves God in Johnson's interpretation.
This small book actually began with 10 lectures given by Robert Johnson at an Episcopal Church. Thus they are concise and do not offer a broad array of examples. I found the book to be excellent and found it much more to the point that Emma Jung's long study of the Holy Grail myth in all it permutations.

5-0 out of 5 stars A word from Debbie Ford
Hi,1-0 out of 5 stars An interview, a disappointment
This tape was a disappointment to me. It sounded more like an info-mercial than a serious communication of ideas. It seemed like it was produced to promote one of the author's books, not a tape that should be sold.

1-0 out of 5 stars Giga Memory:Kevin Trudeau is a Convicted Felon!
Kevin Trudeau (born February 6th, 1963) is an American entrepreneur, bestselling author, and convicted felon who is now a multi-level marketing executive and television infomercial spokesperson. His news-style infomercials - broadcast frequently on late night TV in North America - have promoted a range of products, including health aids, dietary supplements (coral calcium), real estate investment strategies, and memory-improvement courses. His latest series of infomercials features his book Natural Cures "They" Don't Want You To Know About (ISBN 097559950X). In it he makes various claims about the safety and health of our food supply, arguing that diseases such as cancer can be cured with naturopathic remedies. He likewise maintains that the pharmaceutical industry is actively suppressing these miracle cures, so that they can continue to profit from their patented treatments.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best Self esteem book I've ever read
This book helped me fight for my self-esteem, and as another reviewer said, it's impact lasts years. It's the book I recommend to my friends struggling, like I did, for their self-esteem

5-0 out of 5 stars It's impact will last years.
I picked up this book over ten years ago.It really helped me to change the lens with which I view myself.Today I recomend it to the clients I work with. 4-0 out of 5 stars negative reviews?
The negative reviews of this book are completely off the mark.It is NOT anti-female and Mr.Gurian is NOT a "closet misogynist" nor is he promoting a "dangerous" book. The author does reveal alot of passion and genuine concern for the problems facing boys, and he recognizes something that all teachers and parents should recognize, that boys and girls are different(hate to repeat the phrase, but people dont seem to be getting it)and that boys should NOT be feminized at home or in school.Being more physical, more aggressive, more competitive,is hard-wired into a boys being..it is not something that should be stifled with medication or unnecessary punishment.Boys need some boundaries and some discipline, sure, but they dont need to have what makes them boys taken away from them. This book does not have an "agenda",but the fems who condemn it certainly do.

5-0 out of 5 stars The book is a valuable resource
I'm shocked this book has gotten such bad reviews here. I've read it twice in my son's first year! I will probably read it again in a few years. I wish everyone who cares for or teaches boys would read this book. He tells about the differences between the male brain and the female brain. He stresses the importance of teaching boys spituality (not religion, just spirituality) and responsibility. There is a section in the book about how to talk to boys about sex and why it is so important. As a mother, I find this book to be very important and I've marked sections for my husband to read. Let's be realistic about the differences between boys and girls. While there are always exceptions, boys and girls do tend to be different in certain ways and this book is about how to raise and discipline a boy.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not all "boys will be boys"
Yes, it is true that social and medical science have established a physiological basis of greater aggression among boys:namely testosterone, which should surprise no one.
