Very good book but...
An interesting book form the first view, but not that much in depth and didn't offer solutions, the title is mainly a doctor oriented thesis about impotence. great hubby helper
Recently,my husband was diagnosed with ED. I went nuts and bought every Viagra book on the shelf, but I found this book to be the most helpful. Both my husband and I read the book and found it clear and informative.Many myths were cleared up and I can now breath a sigh of relief.

Excellent book
This is a superb book that describes development of this new drug that ushered in a new sexual revolution in America. A MUST read for all Baby Boomers!The mysteries of the drug's actions are revealed clearly andlogically. This book tells even the novice how to take it, what to expect,and includes in depth scientific information from major medical journals.Thepossible side effects, including nitrate contraindication are clearlyexplained.Unlike several other books on this topic, Viagradiscusses the interactions of the drug, sex and heart disease. The bookalso deals with psychosocial and socioeconomic aspects of the drug. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is dealing with or interested inthe topic of erectile dysfunction.

Very little information about Viagra!
The book, in my opinion, is really mis-titled as the bulk of the book is about male erectile dysfunction, and very secondarily about Viagra. I bought the book as I thought I was getting an indeep review of Viagra andits effects. It appears that the book was written too early in the Viagraintroduction cycle, it was copywrited in 1998, to have much practicalinformation to include in the book.In summary I found the bookdisappointing and certainly would not recommend it. ... This is a great book about the problem of impotence, a great disorder that affects in equal amounts older and younger men. Misunderstood and treated as something horrible, impotence has been largely ignored by the general public and sadly ignored by many men. This book explains what causes impotence, what its symptoms are and how it can be treated, but this is not the best title out there. A good book that talks about the ever changing nature of sexual disorders and especially erectile disorders. The diagnosis and treatment presented here are of medical certified quality but the presentation isn't too bright and the book lacks important depth. This book teaches us all that the cure for erection problems is inside us, we must look into ourselves, find and eliminate the problem. Many men are doubled by the prospect of erection problems and usually steer clear of the subject being embarrassed.
